Mom and baby are both doing great.

What an incredibly different experience the second time around.

I spent the last few weeks (or months) worrying about how much our lives were going to change.

So many unknowns:

Am I enough? Could I love another child as much as I love Luna? How will this impact our personal and professional lives? Can we afford the added expenses?

All of those concerns evaporated during the drive to the hospital. It's hard to explain how or why, but the crippling anxiety turned into buzzing confidence.

A familiar quote comes to mind:

โ€œWe don't rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.โ€

- Archilochus.

Dia and I put a lot of work into raising Luna. There will be new challenges with Luca, but I'm certain we can handle them with grace.

Twins...born 2 years apart.

Luna was a bit reserved during their first encounter. But by day two, she was kissing baby bro on his head, rubbing his shoulder when he cried, and patting his back to help burp him.

๐Ÿคž๐ŸฝHopefully they get sick of us before they get sick of each other.
