Had some fun on X this week.
Here are a few of my favorites:
We had eviction court last week for someone staying in my triplex.
Decided to share the story on X and the people went crazy for it (100K views).
Few Thoughts:
- Fair amount of insults were thrown my way (understandable)
- Some ruthless individuals (kick her out now! type stuff)
- An overwhelming number of people wanted to know why the tenant fell behind
It's no secret I'm a big fan of Stoic philosophy. In Stoicism, "asking why" about negative situations is generally discouraged because it often leads to dwelling on things outside of your control and can amplify negative emotions; instead, Stoics focus on accepting what is, adapting to the situation, and focusing on what you can control by changing your perspective.
That said, I never once asked why the tenant fell behind. It honestly didn't occur to me to ask until I posted about it on X.
We're in the process of designing the kitchen at Project Silver Spring.
3 sinks, 2 dishwashers, and a double wall oven. A pebble ice machine, 3 pull-out trash cans, 2 glass sliders, 48” fridge, 48” range, and storage for days.
Who needs this stuff?

Someone I engage with often asked how they should invest $250K.
It was a perfect opportunity to shoot my shot.
"I still don't know what you do." DAGGER!!!
How could he not know what I do? I'm shouting it from the rooftop every chance I get, especially on X.
Alas, I did not take it personally. I took it as an opportunity to be better.
Working on converting this online relationship to IRL. Set up a call with him as soon as I get back from Aruba.
Speaking of IRL...
I grabbed a coffee with this guy that DM'd me on X.
We hung out for 90 minutes on Wednesday and I'm still buzzing from our conversation.
I can't decide if I'm more impressed by his pedigree, career credentials, or outlook on life. Fascinating individual.
Looking forward to hanging out with him again. 🙏
Lastly, I want to acknowledge how lucky I am to do 4 deals (soon to be 6) in my backyard.
This could also be the reason I fled the country, LOL.
