Boy, do I have a solution for you!
My Photos were taking up 75GB of the 128GB I had available on my phone.
Then I downloaded Google Photos.
Google Photos allowed me to backup my 8,000+ photos and videos for free.
There is also a paid option for original photo quality, but the free version is the same to my eye.
Once I backed up all my photos and videos, the Google Photos app helped me clear up space on my phone.
Voila, 75gb of storage freed up!
And all of those photos are still on my phone. They just live in a different app. Instead of “Photos”, they’re in “Google Photos”.
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE...
Just kidding. That’s all.
TL;DR - I transitioned all of my photos & videos from my phone’s storage to the Google Photos cloud service and saved a ton of storage space on my device.
I’m sure I’m late to this party, but it was a game changer for me so I had to share it with you.

Update on the book
I spent most of my writing time this week crafting “My Story” as the opening chapter of the book.
If I’m being honest, I got a little carried away.
I’m probably including more details than I need to and will likely use the delete key liberally on this section during the editing process.
I'm at 5,200 words and feel like I have yet to cross the starting line. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
